A car GPS is one of the most typical GPS units and many new vehicles come with pre-installed units. For those that don’t however there are a wide variety of lightweight and semi transportable auto GPS units available in numerous different pricing brackets. The prime source for reviews on these units is finding someone you know who has purchased one and ask them what they think about it. They are going to give you info from the user possible and you may learn about such stuff as shopper service and little quirks that you won’t find other places.
If you don’t know anyone that has private experience with the product you have an interest in you could surf online stores and see if they have user reviews. Notice that most consumers don’t write reviews so you get generally the very satisfied clients who are thrilled or really sad customers who need a forum on which to rant. There’ll be one or two who just like to do reviews but they aren’t the majority.
