When I was little, every time anyone asked me what kind of automobile I wanted, I would say I wanted a Nissan Quest. What would a 10 year old want with a mini-van? But I guess I found the lines of the automobile appealing and advanced looking. And I did want to be a mother one day so I guess I was planning ahead.
Right now I’m a mother (six times over) and I’m ready to go automobile shopping. It’s significant to me to purchase American in these tough financial times so that narrows it down a lot but I actually do like the Ford Flex. And naturally it has to fit everybody, so that’s the reason why I am looking at the 7 seater SUV.
It isn’t just the design of the automobile that interests me now but all the other available features too. Though I actually do like the way it looks. It looks like a stretched out mini cooper. I like the grill and the grooves around the side and I love the 2 moon roofs with the optional two-tone. It simply looks so awesome – a lot cooler than you’d imagine a 7 passenger SUV to look.
Some of the different features are very ingenious. For example, it has a refrigerated console in the 2nd row, there is a low step-in height, it has great handling and an eco-boost engine. Not that I think I’ll be utilizing that too much. It’s just nice to know it’s got some power and I cannot wait to try out the SYNC system for making phone calls, checking traffic and changing the music.
More importantly though, it’s got the best crash test rating, anti lock brakes, a monitor for the tire pressure and a rear view back up camera. I have done my research and I cannot wait to get my family into their new 7 passenger SUV – the Ford Flex!
